The right environment is essential to the creative process. We've gone to considerable lengths to ensure that all our studios have an atmosphere conducive to producing sound to the highest standard. All the Studios and Transfer have access to all our sound effects via our sound effect server so effects can be auditioned instantly.

Studios 1 + 2 are both equipped with ProTools HD and the Solid State Logic "Scenaria". This is a 100% dynamically automated resettable digital mixing console, complete with random access video. These rooms are aimed at programme makers and are fully compatible with each other and networked so that work can flow seamlessly between them.

Studios 3,4 & 5 are equipped with the SYNCLAVIER. A Digital audio system that manipulates and sculpts sound in any way you can imagine. These rooms are where the bulk of our sound design work goes on. The digital mixing consoles are either Harrison "Series 12", Solid State Logic "Avant" or the Soundtracs "Virtua". Again total dynamic automation of all controls is standard.

All the rooms have a selection of effects gear from manufactures such as Lexicon, AMS, Yamaha, Valley and Focusrite, and all five can handle Auto Conform from CMX or equivalent lists. We can also handle OMF files using ProTools.

Currently studios 3, 4 & 5 can produce Dolby surround for Television while 3 is licensed to produce "Dolby Stereo" and Studio 4 "Dolby Digital" surround audio for cinema commercials.
